Some emerge from haunted forests. Some crawl from forgotten graves. Others ride through the darkness on terrifying black stallions, striking fear into anyone unfortunate enough to cross their path.

Jack Black-O-Lantern got a rocking horse.

But Jack has never been one to let a minor logistical problem get in the way of making an entrance.

With his pumpkin blazing, cape billowing dramatically behind him and a freshly carved jack-o’-lantern held triumphantly overhead, Jack rides into Halloween as The Heightless Horseman — possibly the least mobile supernatural rider in recorded history.

The horse doesn’t gallop. It doesn’t really walk either. And despite Jack’s best efforts, rocking considerably harder has yet to improve the situation.

Still, you’ve got to admire the commitment.
